Hi, I’m Annie.
Counsellor | Coach | Holistic Wellness Practitioner
With over 15 years of experience supporting women, parents, youth, teens, and families through life’s challenges.
Originally from the South Coast of England and now based in Central Alberta, I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work—including understanding what it feels like to build a life far from home. I have a special interest in supporting women who have moved to Canada and are navigating the emotional experience of transition, identity, and belonging.
My approach is warm, grounded, and person-centred, with a strong connection to nature and nervous system wellbeing. I blend evidence-based counselling with holistic practices to support emotional health, resilience, and lasting change.
Mount Willow is a space where you can slow down, feel safe, and reconnect with yourself—at your own pace.

Inside or in Nature
Ages 8+ : Young people today face many challenges, from anxiety and school pressures to social and emotional changes. I provide a safe, supportive space where youth and teens can express themselves and feel heard without judgment. Using approaches such as nature therapy, therapeutic play, mindfulness, CBT, and somatic techniques, sessions help young people develop healthy coping skills, emotional awareness, and resilience. The goal is to support them in building confidence and navigating life’s changes with greater ease.
Counselling offers a compassionate space to slow down, reflect, and work through life’s challenges. I support adults experiencing mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or emotional overwhelm, using a person-centred and integrative approach. Sessions may include mindfulness, nature based therapy, somatic practices, and evidence-informed counselling techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping), Guided Meditation and more... Together we work toward greater clarity, balance, and emotional wellbeing.
Family counselling provides a supportive environment where family members can improve communication, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges together. These sessions are offered in person and can accommodate up to three family members per session. creating a safe and focused space for meaningful conversation. We work together to understand each person’s perspective while developing healthier ways of relating and supporting one another. Families can gain practical tools for managing conflict, stress, and life transitions while building stronger connections
Coaching supports women who are seeking clarity, personal growth, and greater balance in their lives. Unlike counselling, which often focuses on healing past experiences, coaching is more future-focused and goal-oriented. Sessions may include mindfulness, mindset work, and holistic practices such as Access Bars energy work to help release stress and shift limiting patterns. Coaching can support women in reconnecting with their confidence, purpose, and direction. Available as individual sessions, ongoing support or packages.

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you here. We may explore your current concerns, goals, and what you’d like support with.
You can share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to talk about anything you’re not ready for. Together, we’ll begin identifying what feels most important and create a plan that supports you.
This session is also a chance to ask questions and see if it feels like a good fit.
Counselling can support you through challenges like anxiety, stress, life transitions, and relationships—or simply help you gain clarity and feel more balanced.
You don’t need to be in crisis. Many people come to build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and improve their overall wellbeing.
If you’re unsure, a free 15-minute consultation can help you decide what kind of support is right for you.
